My name is Andrew Iverstine. I have spent most of my professional life as a mechanical engineer, but I have always had an undeniable passion for the outdoors and beautiful landscapes. I started Iverstine Outdoor because of my desire to help others experience beautiful landscapes in their own spaces. We can go out of our own backdoors to Live Outside!

Iverstine Outdoor provides tree, shrub and turf health services that enable your property to thrive. Most of us live busy urban lives, but it doesn’t mean we have to give up the benefits nature has to offer.

What makes us different from other plant or turf care companies? When it comes to plant health, the main problem we face in the Piedmont region is poor clay soils. Because of my background in engineering, I have a lot of experience with solving problems. Without solving the problem of unhealthy soil, we can never make the plants in our landscape healthier than they are today. Instead of only providing standard turf applications, we also develop individualized soil improvement plans. Over time, this approach is more successful and sustainable. You can eventually build soil that requires less fertilizer, pesticide, herbicide and water inputs.
